This is the first in a series of live concert recordings For the Philistine plans to release as free digital downloads through this website. The releases will all include digital artwork for print and viewing as well as high quality MP3’s for listening.

This set of songs was recorded at the Springwater on Sunday the 23rd of November, 2008 by Judson Peterson and his magical four track cassette recorder. This is a snapshot in time, one performance, one evening in 2008. At five tracks and clocking in at just under half an hour, 'Live @ the Springwater' really fell between the category of EP and Album. Whatever you want to call it, it is a live performance containing no edited tracks, and no frills. Of these five songs only one has been previously released. Escape was a part of Aquariums first studio album Conceptual Realizations. Although this version is a far cry from the original (it has a full band and no synthesizers), it displays the musical versatility of Aquariums. The other four songs will be included in the upcoming album …in Love and Death.
